F.P.A. Has finished the first set of the NEW Boss 429 headers. This set was built on a stock 1969 Boss 429 Mustang. We built a new upgraded and more functional power steering slave mount that is stronger and more functional than the over the counter std. bracket. The "ONLY" practical and yet functional max ground clearance header that we could design was this large tube Tri-Y. H.D 3/8" flanges, HD 16 Ga tubes, HD 16 Ga. 1 7/8" primaries into 2 1/4" secondary and 3" ball and socket gasketless collectors. We used the set of no longer available M/T super scavenger headers , taken off this vehicle to improve on. Installation time, fit and finish and ground clearance was improved dramatically. More photo's will be available in the the next 7 days after we install this set on the proto-type vehicle. The Tri-Y design is timed to the firing order and has shown power to 6800 and has delivered superior torque numbers of larger 4 tube designs. Pricing will be finalized on the next next set with the new fixtures. Orders will be taken in two weeks. Our goal is to have a Boss 9 header for conversion Fords as well as the OE 69/70 Boss Mustang.

The cure for poor fitting ancient design Boss-9 headers. Exact design not completely finalized but STD. F.P.A Max ground clearance, 3/8" flanges, 16 Ga. tubing and ball and socket collectors are in the plan. Due to consumer demand for factory 69-70 Boss cars, the release of the new Kaase Boss 9 crate engines and new reproduction 67-70 Mustang bodies, It is now time for a new header! Along with fitting factory applications, we would like to accommodate rear steer Rack and Pinions as well as Mustang 2 front steer conversions from Rod and Custom Motorsports and others for Fairlanes, Torino's etc. Any and all input is welcomed regarding this product design.

STONEY CREEK, ON (Mar. 16, 2010)—Canada’s Mark Martino and his Martino Motorsports team are committing their resources toward running a full-time schedule within the American Drag Racing League’s Extreme Pro Stock (XPS) division this year, beginning with this weekend’s ADRL Universal Technical Institute Dragapalooza VI presented by Safety-Kleen at Houston Raceway Park, in Baytown, Texas.

Martino entered one ADRL event in 2009, at Columbus, Ohio, but will remain in contention for the series’ Rookie of the Year award as he goes after a spot in the Speedtech Battle for the Belts that will determine the 2010 ADRL Extreme Pro Stock championship.

In an effort to maximize his chances at being an instant contender in the XPS class, Martino has formed a strategic alliance with the veteran ADRL Extreme 10.5 team of Titan Motorsports for the 2010 season. Not only will Martino and Titan share resources in preparing their cars and at the track, they will both look to the experience of Titan crew chief Eric Luzinski to establish them as top contenders on a weekly basis.

During early season testing at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida, Martino’s team, including Luzinski, quickly realized the potential of their eighth-mile set-up, ripping off a stout 4.06-seconds, 178-mile-per-hour pass, only fractions of a second away from the current ADRL Extreme Pro Stock record.

“That test session was a great opportunity for us to put some laps on the car in ADRL trim and see what we had to work with going to Houston” Martino said. “It was also a good tune up for me having been out of the seat since October of last year and I feel that as a team we’ll be very competitive right out of the gate.”

Qualifying for the ADRL Universal Technical Institute Dragapalooza VI presented by Safety-Kleen gets underway at 11 a.m. Friday, Mar. 19, with eliminations scheduled to begin the next day at 1 p.m.

Aronson Motorsports has spent most of the off season making preparations to bring out their newly built 2010 Ford Racing Extreme Pro Stock Mustang, built by Jerry Haas Race Cars. The car was featured in the front entrance to the 2009 PRI show as a display vehicle for Ford Motor Company. Upon the conclusion of the show, the car was carted down to West Palm Beach Raceway where Cale was able to make some laps in the newly constructed Mustang. Having less than a week to wire and plumb the car, Cale worked long hours to get it ready, but when the time came, it was more than capable of clicking off some impressive laps.

“We are getting ready to make our way over into the ADRL where there is some super stiff competition, and we have been working to upgrade our operation to a level we feel is more than capable of making a good performance on race day,” stated Aronson. This year Aronson Motorsports is looking forward to taking on the ADRL schedule and show casing the new Ford Mustang at every event. They have had tons of help on this new car, and say they couldn’t have done it without all the great people involved. Jon Kaase is and has always been the power provider for Aronson Motorsports, and is hard at work on their newest bullet! “Jerry Haas built us the best car I have ever had the privilege to work with. Our
first pass on the car was good enough to have qualified well at every event last year, so I was very pleased and can’t wait to get the updated Kaase engine in the car!” said Aronson.

After Aronson’s recent trip to Qatar for the ADRL (Arabian Drag Racing League), he returns looking forward to the season. “We are going to have a lot of great friends to run with, and it is a quality show with extreme professionalism at every turn,I can’t wait to get on the track!” Said Cale.

For those unfamiliar with Aronson Motorsports, Cale is the son of Chuck Aronson a former AHRA Pro Stock World Champion and IHRA Rookie of the year. Cale has grown up in the world of all motor racing and continues to pursue his dreams in Extreme Pro Stock. Cale is also known for his high performance business, where he offers complete high performance tuning and consultation as well as sales of high performance parts and services. He is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and has customers world wide. The Aronson’s have been long time associates of Ford and work proudly to display the Blue Oval!

The Aronson Motorsports Team includes Chuck Aronson, Cale Aronson, Tinzy Smith (Cale’s Fiance), Mark Shelton and this year will have the addition of Jeremy Martorella of UPR Products.

“We would like to take this time to thank all of our supporters and sponsors, because without them I would not have the opportunity to do what we have done! Ford Racing has been a great partner in this project, and I would like to thank Jesse Kershaw, Brian Wolfe, Jamie Allison, Moes Nolan, and Wayne Geoffrey. Mark Walser is a long time family friend and supporter and I want to thank him the most! Jon Kaase and Jerry Haas have given us the best equipment possible. A big thanks also goes to UPR Products, Mickey Thompson, Ram Clutches, Barry Grant, Arch Haslar (Body Man), DJ Safety,Orme Brothers, Innovators West, ProBell, and many more!” - Cale Aronson

We look forward to the 2010 ADRL Extreme Pro Stock season, and wish everyone a great season!
