Jon Kaase’s Engine Masters Challenge winning 403” Ford Cleveland engine. This powerplant has won $73,000 in the last 3 years of Engine Masters competition. It appears on the front cover of the current Engine Masters Magazine (spring 2010). A teardown article appears in the same issue. It is also featured on the front cover, as well as the inside of the Winter 2008 Engine Masters Magazine.
This engine uses CHI/Kaase C-400 CNC ported heads, Comp Cams roller cam, Scat steel crank & rods, custom crafted, WW Eng. rocker arms and mounting bars, Weiand tunnel ram, Braswell NHRA pro stock twin Dominator carbs, and a front sump Moroso steel oil pan. We have 2 different depth pans. Also included is the CHI single 4-bbl intake from the 2008 winning configuration.
In it’s present state, this engine makes 730HP, 625 FT/LBS.
